This residence is a ground up 4,000 square foot home in the north facing hillside of Sherman Oaks. The house offers sweeping views of the San Fernando Valley and the mountains beyond.

The main organizational concept of the house is at the living level where sliders pocket on the front and rear, opening the house to the deck on the north and rear yard to the south. The third, west face of the living area is floor to ceiling glass next to the pool. A generous living area is created, where interior and exterior space become one continuous experience. The bedroom level, clad in profile metal panels hovers above, while a multifunctional space defined by board formed concrete walls and a bonderized metal screen is situated below.
