"Well Connected" is a boutique, hair salon, and photography studio under one roof.

The front space is divided into hair salon and boutique by a meandering spine. The spine is delineated by the walls, furniture and lighting and doubles up as a runway for fashion events.

The hair salon counter with integrated tv screens, transforms into a bar for catering drinks and food during events while a curtain on a u-shaped track changes positions to serve as a separator in the day (salon from waiting area) and as backdrop at night (to barman).

The retail counter has a built in dj station and a faceted back wall comes alive when projected on at night.

The space inside a brick shell, originally built as an automobile showroom in 1909, is now a one stop shop for fashion, styling and having a good time in Downtown Los Angeles.
